She's partial to a break from the grind of everyday life in London.

And it seems that the festive period has spurred Tamara Ecclestone into jet-setting mode, yet again, as the socialite arrived in New York on Wednesday - to begin her 13th holiday of the year.

Making her way through JFK airport with her adorable 21-month-old daughter, Sophia, the Formula One heiress, 31, looked at ease with the rigours of flying in a stylish yet comfortable ensemble.

Rocking a laid-back approach to the jet-set chic look, Tamara - the daughter of billionaire Formula One supremo Bernie Ecclestone - made sure her wardrobe was both stylish and practical.

For her travels she donned a grey tee-shirt - through which she flashed a hint of her black bra - and a knee-length navy cardigan.

Keeping with her comfortable yet chic look, Tamara slipped into a pair of black, skinny-fit jogging bottoms.

Rounding her stylishly laid-back look off, the brunette beauty wore a pair of black leather sneakers.

Accessorising her look with a high-end flourish, the society darling wore a black leather handbag, gold watch and sparkling diamond ring.

Wearing her brunette locks loose and toussled, she let her chestnut tresses cascade down around her shoulders.

Opting for a minimal amount of make-up, the fashion-focused mother kept any dark circles cause buy jet-lag hidden under a pair of wide-framed sunglasses.

Sophia - whom Tamara shares with husband Jay Rutland - looked in equally high spirits as her mother, as the mother-daughter duo could be seen sporting smiles on their arrival.

Obviously keen to keep her young daugther warm in the chill New York climate, Tamra had dressed her tiny tot in a pink parka jacket, grey houndstooth leggings and matching grey boots.

Arriving at their hotel a short time later, Tamara took a picture of a beaming Sophia taking in the dizzying views over the city's famous Central Park.

Showing the view from her carriage, Tamara joked about the getting into trouble with the Park Rangers, captioning the image: 'Only just got here already in trouble.'

While it's not known whether Tamara's husband, Jay, will join the girls on their trip to the Big Apple - believed to be their 13th holiday this year - Tamara and Sophia's latest jaunt comes just weeks after they returned from an extended break in Los Angeles..

In the past 12 months Tamara and Sophia have managed to rack-up an impressive amount of international travel, with the mother-daughter duo enjoying holiday's in 13 destinations. 

But being the daughter of billionaire F1 boss Bernie - thought to be worth around $3billion - and further sharing a substantial personal wealth between her and Jay, it's perhaps no surprise the family have enjoyed at least 13 getaways in 2015.

And she hasn't held back in sharing pictures from her getaways on Instagram over the months, showing off the London-based family's holidays in destinations including the Bahamas, Milan, Lake Como, Dubai and New York.

Their volume of vacations came to light in June when the couple celebrated their two-year wedding anniversary at the luxury Atlantis resort in the Bahamas.
