Billie, 33, looked a little chilly as she wrapped a huge padded coat around her in between takes.

The singer turned actress' floor-length skirt could be glimpsed under the comfy cover-up, while her long locks were styled into an intricate up do.

The Brit talent was seen chatting to Reeve Carney, who plays Dorian Gray, with the actor showing off his dapper costume as the two took notes from director Paco Cabezas.

The popular show has been filmed in Dublin since the first series in 2013, setting up at nearby Ardmore Studios in Bray as well as shooting exterior scenes in the city.

The critically acclaimed Showtime programme is centered around the 'penny dreadfuls' - a form of cheap fiction publication of the 19th century which was often lurid in content.

The series borrows from an array of literature to provide characters, including Oscar Wilde's creation Dorian Gray and Mary Shelley's Victor Frankenstein.

Alongside Billie and Reeve, the show features an all-star cast including Hollywood hunk Josh Hartnett and French actress Eva Green.

Josh has also been spotted on set in Dublin this week, just over a week since he welcomed his first child with girlfriend Tamsin Egerton.

It's been an exciting week for the Penny Dreadful cast as it was announced on Thursday that Eva, who plays Vanessa Ives, has received her first ever Golden Globe nomination.

The talented actress has received a nod in the Actress in a Television Drama category, where she faces Taraji P. Henson for Empire, How To Get Away With Murder's Viola Davis, Robin Wright, for House of Cards and Caitriona Balfe for her performance in Outlander.
