Going for gold! Rihanna flashes extremely ample cleavage in show-stopping gown as she is joined by family at her Diamond Ball

She famously sang about shining bright like a diamond.

And Rihanna did just that on Thursday, as she led a host of stars - and members of her own family - at her aptly named Diamond Ball in Los Angeles.

The 27-year-old made sure all eyes were on her as she arrived on the red carpet in a show-stopping Dior gown with matching coat.

Rihanna risked a wardrobe malfunction as her extremely ample cleavage nearly spilled out of the vintage style frock.

The dress clung to her curves in all the right places thanks to its bodice style top, and had a slit up the front, allowing her to show a little leg.

Rihanna paired the eye-catching gown with a coat that fell off her bare shoulders and a pair of heels, both of which were in the exact same hue as the dress.

The singer wore her long, raven locks loose and sported a dazzling diamond necklace and matching earrings. 

Rihanna also wore a full face of heavy make-up, including deep pink lipstick, frosted eyeshadow and false eyelashes.

The megastar was supported at the event by members of her family, including her mother Monica Braithwaite, her aunt and her young 'niece' Majesty.

The adorable toddler is the daughter of Rihanna's cousin Noella Alstrom, making her Rihanna's first cousin, once removed, although the star calls herself 'Auntie OhNaNa' and clearly dotes on the little girl.

Rihanna proudly held up her 18-month-old 'niece' - clad in an adorable sparkling blue frock - and planted kisses on her as they posed for the cameras.

The Stay hit-maker started the event last year, to raise funds for the Clara Lionel Foundation, which she set up in 2012. 

The charity is named after her grandparents Clara and Lionel Braithwaite and states on its website that it 'works to improve the quality of life for communities globally in the areas of health, education, arts and culture'.

This year, Rihanna raised $3million for the charity, with her manager Jay Brown splashing $45,000 in auction for a replica of her Dior gown. 

Speaking about the event to People, Rihanna said that she loves 'the energy, the crowd, the vibe' most. She added: 'I love everything about it!'

The star also said: 'It's overwhelming to see so many of the people that I care about come together to support a cause that is near and dear to my heart.'

The singer was joined by a number of famous faces including Kylie Jenner, Will Smith and wife Jada Pinkett-Smith, Kevin Hart, Tyga, Emily Ratajkowski, Zendaya and EJ Johnson.

Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kylie Jenner showed off her figure in a skintight cream strapless gown complete with long train as she arrived at the charity bash in Santa Monica.

The 18-year-old wore her long, dark hair down and played up her famous pout with dark pink lipstick.

Also showing his support for Rihanna's foundation was Kylie's on-again, off-again boyfriend, 26-year-old rapper Tyga, who wore a sharp suit and flashed a number of diamond rings.

Also attending the charity bash were actors Will Smith and wife Jada Pinkett-Smith.

Gotham star Jada looked stunning in a white gown with a front zipper, which the 44-year-old unzipped to reveal a hint of cleavage.

The one-shoulder gown showed off the star's toned arms, while a thigh-high slit revealed a her toned legs and silver heels.

Will, who stars in the upcoming NFL drama Concussion, looked handsome in a classic black tux with a dapper pocket square.

Also attending the second annual Diamond Ball in Santa Monica was singer Zendaya, who pulled her long hair back in a center part and chic low ponytail.

The one-shoulder top was tied up in a side knot, highlighting the 19-year-old's slim waist.

Comedian Kevin Hart also attended the Diamond Ball with his fiancee Eniko Parrish.

Distressed detail on the neckline and a jagged train gave the glamorous gown an edgy twist.

Also at the Diamond Ball was reality star EJ Johnson, who was his usual stylish self in a sheer top and fringed tuxedo coat.

The Rich Kids of Beverly Hills star, 23, lost an impressive 180 pounds after undergoing gastric bypass surgery in late 2014.

Also seen arriving at the star-studded bash was model and actor Emily Ratajkowski.

She wore her brunette hair back in a center part, and added nude strappy heels.

Basketball Wives LA star Draya Michele also wore a black ensemble as she attended the charity ball on Thursday night, opting for a tight tank top and floor-length tulle skirt.
