He plays the divorced husband of the lead character in The Girl On The Train.

And it looked like Justin Theroux may have had some serious making up to do as he filmed scenes for the highly anticipated movie on Thursday. 

The 44-year-old was dressed in a suit, carrying a bouquet of roses and a brown bag while sporting a somber look on his face.

The actor, who stars alongside Emily Blunt in the movie, was caught sharing a laugh with the crew during a break from filming the psychological thriller. 

The star donned a long grey coat, navy slacks, a polka dot patterned tie and a white shirt, adding a charcoal and white striped scarf.

The clean shaven star was spotted walking with the red roses and a small bag, as well as getting into a car.

On Tuesday, the newly married actor was caught in the midst of filming a fight scene with his 32-year-old co-star, who stars as the lead, Rachel.

The pair were seen fighting in character before Justin threw her to the ground. 

The film tells the story of Rachel, who takes the train every day.

She observes the perfect couple, Megan and Scott, and when Megan disappears, she tries to find out what happened to her.

Justin, who plays Rachel's ex Tom, joined the movie after Chris Evans had to drop out due to a scheduling conflict.

The story, based on the best selling novel by Paula Hawkins, was originally set in London, but moved to New York City after Dreamworks snapped up the rights.

The Zoolander actor also stars in the HBO show, The Leftovers, which was just renewed for a third and final season.

Justin recently joined Instagram, posting a photo on Thursday to celebrate the show's renewal.

The Mulholland Drive actor married Jennifer Aniston in August, after dating for four years. 

The lovebirds first met on the the set of their film, Wanderlust.

He shared a photo of his wife's backside to his 90,000 Instagram followers, captioning the snap: '#wcw #valentinored #xo.'

The photo was taken at the Academy Awards in February 2013.
