John-David Duggar, Josh's younger brother, says in a preview for the upcoming TLC special Jill & Jessa: Counting On; 'I always wanted to be like him. But one of the toughest things I had to tell my older brother was, I don't want to be like you anymore.'

Now he says it is up to him to set an example as the second eldest Duggar brother.

People obtained an exclusive clip of the upcoming special in which Josh's brother Joseph, 20, also talks the scandals that have now plagued the family.

'I don't think there's any way any of us would have known that my brother was living such a secret life,' he says.

'It broke my heart. Whenever somebody you respect the most is willing to get up and proclaim what we believe as Christians, about being true to your wife, you'd never think that that's the person who's involved in it.'

John-David, 25, then called news of Josh's affairs more of a shock than than the molestation scandal becoming public.

'I've got a whole bunch of younger siblings looking up to me, and I've got to be an example to them,' says John-David.

'Because whatever I am, that's what they want to be. I know that's how it was for me and Josh.'

The Duggar family came under fire and lost their reality show earlier this year when it was revealed that Josh, now 27, had molested four of his sisters when the girls were just minors and he was a teenager.

Documents also showed that Jim Bob was aware of these offenses, but instead of contacting authorities told a sympathetic state trooper that was a family friend and put Josh in a faith-based rehab program.

Shortly after the full details of Josh's sexual assaults became public, the trooper said that Jim Bob left out many key parts of the story.

Then, in August, Josh was revealed to have been on the site Ashley Madison while married to his wife Anna, the mother of his four children.

A week later he confessed to his actions in a letter, writing; 'I have been the biggest hypocrite ever. While espousing faith and family values, I have secretly over the last several years been viewing pornography on the internet and this became a secret addiction and I became unfaithful to my wife.

'I am so ashamed of the double life that I have been living and am grieved for the hurt, pain and disgrace my sin has caused my wife and family, and most of all Jesus and all those who profess faith in Him.'

He entered a faith-based rehab program soon after and has not been seen in public while his wife Anna cares for their children.

In another preview from the upcoming TLC special, Anna breaks down as she reveals how heartbroken she was to learn about her husband's infidelity.

One of the women Josh allegedly had a relationship with at the time was porn star Danica Dillon, who said in August that she slept with Josh twice.

She has now filed a lawsuit which accuses Josh of battery, saying that he manhandled her in a way that 'felt as if she were being raped'.

Dillon, whose real name is Ashley Stamm-Northup, alleges these incidents occurred in March and April after Duggar approached her while she was stripping at a Philadelphia club.

The married mother of two is asking for $500,000 from Duggar.

Just days before Dillon first came forward with the details of their relationship, but before she filed her lawsuit, Josh and Anna sold their Arkansas home to a family friend.

DailyMail.com learned that on August 24, the couple sold their five-bedroom home in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, for $65,000 to ALB Investments LLC, which appears to be a company set up on the same day by their attorney Travis W. Story.

On paper, the Duggars made a $10,000 profit on the home which they had bought eight months before.
