Kate Upton offsets her business-chic image with a casual low-scooped T-shirt as she makes a stylish arrival in LA

She's thought to still be nursing a bad right ankle.

But sensible flat shoes did nothing to detract from Kate Upton's chic airport outfit on Friday afternoon as she made a stylish arrival at LAX airport, Los Angeles.

The Sports Illustrated model, 23, travelled with a business air about her in a blazer and jeans, no doubt with movie filming in mind as she got closer to filming James Franco's new project.

Kate, who is said to have just signed on to Disaster Artist, offset her sharp blazer look with a basic white T-shirt that plunged to tease her ample cleavage.

She elongated her legs in said comfortable shoes, which featured a point at the end and a flat sole to support her injured ankle.

Six days ago, she showed off a very bruised and swollen ankle, she said: 'Anyone else ever sprain their ankle celebrating a big #cornhill win?'

Step up like Kate Upton in these Nicholas Kirkwood's

Actress and model Kate Upton looked casual chic while arriving at LAX airport in California.

We love the black skinny jeans and jacket paired with a white t shirt (so easy and so flattering!) paired with a gold Birkin, why not? The best part of this (aside from the bag, I mean... come on!) is the footwear the bombshell actress wore.

Designed by celebrity favorite Nicholas Kirkwood, the black leather pointed toe loafers are menswear with a twist. We love the pointy toe detail!, it instantly makes this modern and fresh.

And sticking to the all-black theme, Kate's high profile image was hidden behind a pair of tinted aviator shades.

It was reported on Thursday that Kate had joined director James' cast, which is based on 'the worst film of all time' The Room.

The original film features Johnny, a successful banker who lives happily in a San Francisco townhouse with his fiancée, Lisa, who in turns falls for his best friend Mark.

Franco has already cast his younger brother Dave for the film, as well as Zac Efron and Seth Rogan.

Kate's last film was The Layover, on which she acted with William H. Macy and filmed in May this year across the country.

The Layover is the story of two young women - played by Kate and 29-year-old Alexandra Daddario - who head out on a tropical vacation to escape their troubles.

When a hurricane diverts their plane to Saint Louis, however, the two friends end up fighting over a man (played by 31-year-old Matt Barr) they met on the flight.

Written by David Hornsby and Lance Krall, The Layover is expected to premiere in 2016.
