Girls star Jemima Kirke's little sister Lola may have revealed a bit more than she'd intended to while attending a celebrity event in New York City last night.

The 25-year-old actress was caught by paparazzi arriving for the 20th Annual ACRIA Dinner at the Cunard Building in Manhattan wearing an ankle-length black dress, a shiny ivory coat, and chunky-heeled brown boots.

Unfortunately, when the photographers' flashing cameras hit her with full force, the light blasted through her semi-sheer dress and created a mini wardrobe malfunction, revealing a black bra and high-waisted panties underneath.

With her brown hair worn down and in waves and red lipstick swiped across her lips, she momentarily paused outside the venue to smile and pose, all the while giving onlookers and unexpected show

She was joined at the InStyle and Tiffany & Co.-hosted event, which benefits the AIDS Community Research Initiative of America, by several other celebrities.

Oscar winner Julianne Moore, Drew Barrymore, Donna Karan, Man Repeller Leandra Medine, and Real Housewives of New York City star Kelly Bensimon, all walked the red carpet inside.

Lola, however, skipped the carpet, perhaps after being notified by a friend or handler about the way the sheer quality of her dress was amplified by the cameras.

'I’m so grateful to him - this is like a very chic dress,' she told InStyle.

The 40-year-old star was being recognized for her philanthropic efforts, as were photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, who have worked with Lady Gaga and Natalie Portman.
