Selena Gomez is grateful to DJ Zedd, who she was romantically linked to.

The 23-year-old was pictured giving the table turner a smooch on the cheek after performing a set with him during Z100's Jingle Ball in New York City on Friday.

After the tour de force onstage she thanked him on Instagram: 'My babes @zedd and I performing tonight for @z100newyork !! SO grateful to wrap up this year with the best people. Thank you NY!!'

She exchanged the innocent white for an edgy black palette that exuded a punk vibe.

Her outfit consisted of some thigh high black boots and a sheer long shirt over a gold bra and panty combination.

Back in February, Zedd and Selena released their collaborative effort 'I Want You To Know' and rumors they were dating surfaced after the pair shared photos on social media of them hanging out together at the studio.

Though their relationship apparently ended shortly thereafter, the former Wizards of Waverly Place star set the record straight regarding the mysterious liaison in June.

She told New Zealand radio show The Edge Afternoons that the whole affair was definitely real.

'I adore Anton [Zedd] a lot and I definitely had a thing with him, which was nice,' said the Disney princess.
