She knows how to advertise! Lupita Nyong'o dons T-shirt promoting upcoming Star Wars sequel as she arrives at LAX following fan event in Mexico

She recently took to Instagram to gush about her first Star Wars fan event in Mexico.

And on Friday it seemed as if Lupita Nyong'o was feeling inspired following the trip, as she arrived at LAX airport wearing a T-shirt promoting the upcoming flick in Spanish.

The Mexican-born actress looked laid-back in the flattering T-shirt, which read: 'Estar Guars Episode VII.'

Lupita wore the promotional shirt underneath a chic, form-fitting black leather jacket, which she coupled with a pair of skintight black leggings.

The fitted leggings highlighted the actress's toned pins, and she finished off the look with a pair of black boots.

She carried a large, black leather handbag as she arrived in Los Angeles, and hid her eyes behind a pair of coordinating sunglasses.

She kept her make-up simple for the arrival, but accessorized her look with a black headband and a small pair of white earrings.

Earlier on Friday Lupita took to Instagram to share a photo from inside the private jet, posing in the T-shirt and alongside a toy Stormtrooper she calls 'Thunder.'

The star, who was born in Mexico City, Mexico before being raised in Kenya, was not afraid to whip out her Spanish for the occasion, as she returned to the country as a teenager to properly learn the language.

Prior to her visit for Star Wars, Lupita had gushed to The Huffington Post about missing the country, in which she had studied for seven months.

And on Friday she playfully wrote about traveling in Spanish, while touting the upcoming highly anticipated movie The Force Awakens, writing: '¡Viajando en Español pues! #ElDespertarDeLaFuerza @starwars #TíoGuillermo #oscarisaac.'

In another photograph, she showed off her favorite Stormtrooper toy - and traveling companion - alongside an even smaller version, apparently called 'Lightning.'

'#Thunder meets @r2rocine's #Lightning. The next generation. #theforceawakens #forcefriday,' she wrote.

She also joked about the size of the miniature toy, writing: 'There has been an awakening... The has also been some child labor on the Dark Side...'

Lupita plays a thousand-year-old bar owner called Pirate Maz Kanata in the upcoming movie, which also stars Daisy Ridley, Oscar Isaac, and John Boyega, as well as veteran stars Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, and Harrison Ford.

Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens hits theaters in the UK on December 17, following the next day in the US.
