Kylie Minogue wows in a tiny tutu as she brings Christmas to the Royal Albert Hall with a little help from sister Dannii

She's already brought Christmas to the charts with her new album.

But on Friday night Kylie Minogue turned London's Royal Albert Hall into a festive party as she made her first ever headline appearance at the iconic venue to celebrate the release of her new album, A Kylie Christmas.

The Aussie singer belted out Christmas classics together with brand new tracks and her favourite hits as she switched between a number of glam costumes and sang with sister Dannii and Chryssie Hynde at the epic gig.

The 47-year-old star looked incredible in her sparkling costumes, at one point strutting onto the vast stage in a tiny tutu mini dress.

The white number was covered in musical notes and showed off Kylie's amazing legs perfectly.

A pair of metallic platform heels completed the glam look as Kylie sang her heart out for the packed venue.

A costume change saw the singer don her very sexy version of a Santa outfit, wowing in a furry lined red and white cloak and matching thigh-high boots.

When she announced her special one-off gig earlier this year, the chart-topper admitted performing at the Royal Albert Hall would 'be a dream come true. I can't wait for the 11th December to share a night of joy and celebration with everyone,' she gushed.

It's a busy time for the star as she promotes her festive album, with the in-demand singer jetting home to Australia last week to sing with her sister Dannii on Aussie X Factor.

Another star guest: Kylie was also joined by Chrissie Hynde for a duet of the song 2000 Miles

The singing sisters performed their Christmas duet 100 Degrees, with Kylie revealing of her decision to collaborate with her little sister after years of working apart: 'Obviously we're asked all the time 'when are you going to do this' and we used to say that we weren't worried because we knew an opportunity would come along and that it'd be the right time.

'It just happened to be the time and I wanted to have a song on the Christmas album that talked about the heat, as an Aussie I thought I cannot have a Christmas album that doesn't mention the blazing hot summer. So it was the perfect song to do with my sister.' 

And Kylie's sister couldn't resist joining the star on Friday night for another live performance of their duet, with Dannii gushing to her Twitter followers after the gig: 'Rocking the RAH #RoyalAlbertHall @kylieminogue thank you for letting me turn the temperature up, Aussie style.'

Kylie meanwhile was equally ecstatic after her night, telling her Instagram followers as she swapped her stage costumes for a comfy t-shirt: 'I can't believe what just happened. #KylieChristmas at @royalalberthall was beyond amazing. A night I will never forget. THANK YOU!!!!!!

As well as releasing her festive music, Kylie has another reason to smile as she enjoys a new romance with actor Joshua Sasse, 27.  

Speaking to the The Daily Telegraph last month, the besotted singer said that her man will be cooking their Christmas dinner. 'I go all gooey at the mention of him,' Kylie said. 'I maintain someone has to get everything ready, mood the place and chop and assist and I'm great at cleaning up.'
