Zooey Deschanel and her husband Jacob Pechenik beamed with delight as they strolled with newborn daughter Elsie Otter in Los Angeles Saturday.

The first-time parents were in great spirits as they gently pushed their little five-month-old princess in her pram.

The three-time Golden Globe nominee - who turns 36 next month - rocked her signature black pantyhose with matching pleated shorts and preppy cardigan.

Zooey was three months pregnant when she and her 42-year-old beau announced their engagement, and they wed sometime before the baby arrived.

Deschanel reportedly converted to Judaism for Jacob, and the couple did in fact leave Temple together that day.
