She has been vile about him since leaving the jungle - including berating his body on national TV.

But now Lady Colin Campbell, 66, has implied that her public spat with Duncan Bannatyne was staged by I'm A Celebrity bosses.

The suggestion comes after the socialite made an appearance on Alan Carr's Chatty Man, which aired on Friday.

Talking to the funnyman during a pre-recorded interview, she seemed to imply to Alan that the fall-out was initially staged to make the show more compelling.

‘The problem was that for the first week everyone got on very famously and they were starting to complain that there wasn’t enough tension,' she said.

‘Then at some point they [the other celebs] said that I was going to be the star of the show and three of the men decided that they would have a go at me.

‘Two of them [Duncan Bannatyne and Tony Hadley] continued thereafter, but the third backed down.’

However, since then she has said the problems between them took on a life of their own - and included Duncan standing on her foot. 

She said: ‘He was behind me, and the next thing I knew he pushed me out of the way and he was in front of me, raised his right foot and stamped on my left foot.’

In the same interview Lady C also denigrated Duncan's genitals for comedy value.Fortunately, the Dragon's Den star has been much more dignified since returning from the show, in which he finished seventh place.
