She's had a tough week as speculation over her marriage builds.

But Cheryl Fernandez-Versini strutted her worries away as she made a very grand entrance onto the stage for the X Factor final on Saturday night.

The singer looked incredible in a red carpet worthy glittering gown as she walked to her judges' seat surrounded by hunky men in tuxes, while Lady Gaga's hit Paparazzi blared out.

Cheryl pulled out all the stops for the first live show of the X Factor final weekend, choosing a floor-length scarlet sparkly gown.

Her hair was styled into glam curls, while some towering heels completed the look.

In fact the combination of her floor-length gown and stilettos proved to be a tricky combination as Cheryl appeared to need a helping hand from her handsome aides as she climbed out of her chauffeur driven car and down a red carpet.

There was little sign of what must have been a trying week for the star as she headed to her seat, with the Fight For This Love singer flashing a huge smile and giving her signature salute for the audience.

She gave her fans a glimpse of her stellar outfit choice just before Saturday night's show kicked off, sharing an Instagram shot from backstage as she held a huge red balloon emblazoned with the words '#TeamCheryl Reggie N Bollie.'

As she waits to see if Reggie N Bollie can make it to the winner's podium, Cheryl is battling mounting speculation that her marriage is on the rocks.

The singer has not been pictured with husband Jean-Bernard for several months, and it appears they are spending an increasing amount of time apart.

Sources say she is struggling to cope with the French restaurateur's 'party lifestyle' and 'regrets' rushing into the union.

It is also believed her friends and family are concerned about the X Factor judge after she lost a dramatic amount of weight in recent months.

The news comes as Mr Fernandez-Versini posted a series of cryptic messages on his private Instagram account referring to 'lies' and 'going through hell'.

The song contains the words: 'Oh what a mess we made and now the final frame, love is a losing game ... More than I could stand, love is a losing hand.'

Afterwards an emotional Mrs Fernandez-Versini, 32, said: 'That really struck a chord with me.'

She married her second husband in July 2014 with just four guests attending. 

Mr Fernandez-Versini was often at his wife's side as she recorded the X Factor, but he has been noticeably absent this year. 

They have been seen together only once since July, when he took her on a surprise birthday trip to Italy. They were spotted at Ant and Dec's 40th birthday party in October.

While Cheryl wowed in her red gown on Saturday night, there was the usual rivalry for the style crown from fellow judge Rita Ora.

After the ex Girls Aloud star sasheyed down her red carpet, Rita made her own grand entrance, with the singer carried onto stage on a throne carried by some muscular men.

Rita coordinated with Cheryl in her own red gown, showing a hint of skin in the a-symmetric number, while she accessorised with some sparkling drop earrings.

The X Factor's final weekend sees Cheryl's act Reggie N Bollie going head to head with Rita's final Girl, Louisa Johnson and Nick Grinshaw's Che Chesterman.
