Barefaced Georgia May Foote smiles on her way to final Strictly run-throughs... after being struck down with throat infection

Georgia May Foote proved that nothing's going to keep her from Strictly Come Dancing's semi-final night on Saturday.

Grabbing porridge and a coffee to go, the brunette was seen leaving her London hotel to rehearse for the final time before the big event.

The 24-year-old, who's hotly tipped to win the show, appeared to be on the mend after being struck down with a bacterial throat infection.

Georgia, whose partner is Giovanni Pernice, was casual in her black jeans and trainers, wearing two jackets to keep herself warm.

She went completely make-up free, offering an insight into her no doubt sleep-deprived week but remained smiley in the face of another week in the competition.

Tweeting on the morning of the latest live show, she said: 'Final runs are about to begin for tonight! Cant believe we are in the semi finals!'

Earlier this week, Georgia revealed her high hopes to be able to make it to this weekend's semi-final showdown with Katie Derham, The Wanted's Jay McGuinness, Anita Rani and Kellie Bright.

The former Coronation Street actress revealed that she had been diagnosed with pharyngitis, which is a mild viral illness which causes painful inflammation of the pharynx.

The brunette beauty made the confession during an interview with Zoe Ball on Strictly Come Dancing's spin-off show, It Takes Two, on Friday.

That won't help! Her professional dance partner, Giovanni Pernice, also revealed that he's potentially contracted the bug, saying: 'I'm starting to feel a bit ill too'

'My pharynx is just broken,' she explained with an audibly hoarse voice. 'I'm still generally feeling under the weather. I still sound weird.'

Joined by her professional dance partner, Giovanni, he too revealed that he's potentially contracted the bug, saying: 'I'm starting to feel a bit ill too'.

The badly-timed news means that both stars must rehearse together without making each other's infection worse - despite their close physical proximity.

If their conditions worsen, they could lose vital energy which they'll need to stay in the competition as it reaches fever pitch.

And, although she's scored some impressive routines during her tenure on the show, she'll be competing with some talented rivals.

Smiling as she held her breakfast, Georgia certainly hid any signs of ill-health as she was joined by her competitors.
