She has just two more weeks to perfect her routine before returning to her Planet Hollywood residency.

And it seems Britney Spears was busy doing just that on Saturday.

The 34-year-old had a bright smile on her face when she made her way to a dance class in Los Angeles county.

Britney was dressed the part to break a sweat as well.

The Womanizer singer donned black sweatpants, a light purple hooded sweatshirt, and trainers with neon pink shoelaces.

Clutching a refreshing water bottle, Britney also pulled her sandy blonde hair up into a no-fuss pony tail.

She looked fresh face as she strolled inside the studio with a wide smile.

As Britney has been working on new music, she has been in and out of the recording studio for months but there has yet to be any firm news on when the world can expect the star's next album.

With a Las Vegas residency and two little boys to look after as well, no one can accuse the Baby, One More Time singer of being lazy.

But with two years since her last album, the excitement for her ninth studio offering continues to grow.

In October, the mega star confirmed her ninth album was coming by posting a picture of herself in the studio with songwriters Justin Tranter and Julia Michaels.

The star captioned the snap: 'Working hard and hardly working...new album...wheeeee!'

Some parts of the album are obviously close to finished as the star also tweeted: 'JUST finished recording some vox. LOVE this song. It makes ME smile, and I hope it will make you smile too... #B9.'

As for a release date or a title, that all remains a mystery.

Britney recently announced she is extending her popular Las Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino through to 2017. She returns to the stage at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on December 27.
