She recently emerged in support of her doppelganger Justin Bieber in a touching Instagram post, after he admitted he was 'struggling' with the pressures of fame.

And it seems Ruby Rose and the Sorry singer's relationship extends well beyond the realms of their social media exchanges.

The Orange Is The New Black actress shared a screenshot to Instagram on Friday of a recent FaceTime conversation held between the pair.

The image which she shared with her 5.8 million followers on Instagram, was captioned: 'Miss you little brother.'

Within one day the post had already received over 202,000 likes. 

Showing a large snippet of Justin, 21, Ruby, 29, is just visible in a smaller insert.

Despite the poor quality of the images, the star's similar striking baby faced features are still noticeable in the shot.

Ruby, who announced in 2013 that she had been dealing with her own personal issues and struggled for years with crippling depression, wrote: 'He's just a human with a big heart' after uploading a snap of herself and Justin holding hands.

In the image, Justin is pictured looking down at the ground, his face obscured by a cap and hood, while Ruby stares defiantly down the barrel of the camera, donning a rivet-studded biker jacket and a head of braids.

After all, it's the people [as the audience] who allow us to do these great things.'
