WORLD EXCLUSIVE: Shaker Aamer, the Briton held at Guantanamo Bay for 14 years, pictured, recalled his 5,007 days in prison without even being charged. In the almost 14 years Aamer spent at Guantanamo, he was a victim of the Forcible Cell Extraction team many hundreds of times - he says that in one year, 2012, he was 'FCE'd' 370 times, more than once a day. The last time was just two months before his release, because he refused to give four vials of blood, demanded on the spurious grounds that the authorities were checking inmates for tuberculosis.

Can billionaire John Caudwell's bombshell theory be right? Phone tycoon reveals ELEVEN of his family now have crippling Lyme disease and he believes it's passed on by other people NOT ticks
EXCLUSIVE: Billionaire John Caudell (pictured with his diagnosed son Rufus) says Lyme disease is 'one of the most dangerous illnesses to mankind', after it struck down 11 members of his family. These include his ex-wife Kate McFarlane (top right) and his two daughters Rebekah (bottom right) and Libby (bottom centre, with her boyfriend Simon Morgan who has also tested positive). Despite Public Health England's insistence that the disease can only be caught from a bite by an infected tick, Mr Caudwell claims that it can also be transmitted to a baby during pregnancy, or by an adult by sexual contact, and can lie dormant inside a body for years before attacking.
Did 'husband killer' wife leave mystery accomplice message from the grave to dump his remains? Woman who 'hid body for 18 years left written instructions for it to be moved to the garden after her death'
Leigh Ann Sabine (right), from Beddau near Pontypridd in Wales, had left written instructions for a mystery accomplice to dump her husband John Sabine's (left) remains after her death, it has been claimed. According to John's eldest son, forensic tests have established that his father's remains were kept indoors for years after he went missing in 1997. And now for the snow: Flood-hit towns across northern England turn white as Met Office warns of more misery to come over Christmas and into the New Year
The snow hit Cumbria in the north west and moved east today, causing widespread traffic delays, with the Met Office warning motorists to take care as rain and sleet turns to ice on the roads when temperatures plunge this evening. Snow ploughs were out in County Durham and there were long delays for motorists at Bernard Castle (pictured) following a crash on the A67. The Met Office issued severe weather warnings which run through until Monday morning after seeing the rainfall and snow moving towards the north west (pictured). The front will move south tonight, bringing only rain, but may turn to snow again tomorrow as it returns north via Cumbria, dumping up to three inches on high ground in Scotland.

ROW OVER TRUMP'S 'HATE SPEECH'
Now Donald Trump claims more British Muslims join ISIS than the Army as number of people signing petition to ban him from UK soars above 500,000
The 69-year-old Republican presidential candidate tweeted a link (inset) to a magazine article last night which referenced the claim, which was based on figures from England's first Muslim MP. Khalid Mahmood, the Labour MP for Birmingham Perry Barr, said in August 2014 that there were about 2,000 British jihadis - a higher number than the Government's estimate. And this figure was then compared to Ministry of Defence data showing there were about 600 British Muslims in the Armed Forces at the time - just 0.4 per cent of total personnel. Mr Trump today tweeted a link to an article on Monday in US conservative magazine the National Revie that mentioned the comparison, which featured on MailOnline at the time. Mr Trump is pictured last night with members of the New England Police Benevolent Association after receiving their endorsement in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
And now for the clean-up! The Army is called in to help clear damage caused by devastating floods - as forecasters warn four inches of snow is due to fall tomorrow
Sodden furniture and electrical items lay strewn across the streets waiting for council collections in Cumbria as residents and soldiers attempted to salvage items from flood-hit properties. Fridges (right), sofas and bags of clothes (left) were removed from mud and silt in Keswick, while soldiers also desperately searched for personal items including photographs and one elderly lady's wedding ring (main image), which she lost after being airlifted during the deluge of rain. The recovery comes despite snow blanketing northern England this morning. Temperatures plummeted to 2C and forecasters predicted four more inches could fall near areas devastated by floods tomorrow.

Pictures (left), show how their rooms had been ransacked. But rather than directing anger at the criminals who broke into their £330,000 house in Castle Donington, Derbyshire, Mrs Mahjouri took to Facebook (inset) to express her gratitude.

The truth about Brief Encounter: SHE had no teeth - and HE was a psychopath!
Far from being a glamorous movie star, down-to-earth Celia Johnson wore thick-lensed spectacles and false front teeth, having knocked out her own on a pebbly beach as a teenager. She was 36 when she made Brief Encounter, and was under the impression that Trevor Howard was fully eight years younger than her. Many years later, long after his death in 1988 from a lifetime of heavy drinking, it emerged that Howard had launched his film career by reinventing himself as a war hero with a Military Cross, when in fact he had been dismissed from the Army in 1943 for reasons still unknown. Even as Brief Encounter was being made, police were making inquiries and he narrowly escaped prosecution; according to War Office records, he had a psychopathic personality and was considered unfit for military service.
