All good things must come to an end! Taylor Swift sports preppy tartan miniskirt as she jets out of Melbourne after wrapping up monstrous 1989 World Tour

Taylor Swift's been dazzling hundreds of thousands of Australian fans over the past two weeks, but all good things must come to an end.

After finishing not only the Australian leg of her 1989 concerts but her World Tour on Saturday, the pop star was seen flying out of Melbourne airport on Sunday sporting a preppy look, complete with her signature red lip, ahead of her 13 hour fight home.

The Shake It Off star also celebrated her 26th birthday at Melbourne airport, sticking true to her Instagram post from last week saying that her birthday will 'be a quiet one this year'.

Showing off her incredible legs, Taylor opted for a navy and red tartan mini skirt over sheer stockings.

With just a tiny peek of her midriff, the statuesque pop star co-ordinated the look with a navy, three-quarter length knit and burgundy tasseled loafers.

It wouldn't quite be Taylor Swift if she didn't included a statement red lip and her flicked eyeliner.

Not only is she celebrating her birthday and the end of her sold-out global tour, but she was also named Billboard's top artist of 2015 on Wednesday.

She tops the charts thanks to the huge success of her 1989 album and the epic world tour. This is the second time she's been named the top artist, the last occasion being in 2009.

Taylor is only the second woman to rule the top spot after Adele, who ruled the charts in 2011 and 2012.
