Make-up free Madonna lands at Zurich airport by private jet in her slippers following her moving tribute to Parisian victims at surprise concert in France

Madonna had certainly earned a well-earned rest as she landed at Zurich airport by private jet in Switzerland on Saturday.

But the 57-year-old didn't have much time to relax, as she was straight back on stage at the Hallenstadion that night.

She was joined by her family and trusty entourage for the trip, which can only be fleeting as the Four Minutes hitmaker is due to perform in Manchester on Monday.

She cut a casual figure for her short trip on the private jet, keeping warm in a thick, padded navy coat with a faux fur trim, whilst she swapped her typical body hugging outfits for a pair of tracksuit bottoms.

And comfort definitely won over style for the journey, as she made her way from the plane to a waiting car in a pair of socks and black slippers.

She went make-up free for the trip, hiding her eyes behind a pair of sunglasses, and wore her golden locks loose and tousled for the trip.

It comes as no surprise that the star decided to dress casually for the journey, as she was no doubt tired from her world tour, which included an impromptu concert in Paris on Wednesday evening.

After her concert at the AccorHotels Arena, the star invited fans to join her at Place de la Republique, the site of a memorial to victims of the November 13 terrorist attacks.

She gave hardly any warning, waiting until her show had finished before tweeting: ‘Im singing some songs in place de la republique. Meet me there now #Paris . #rightnow #aftershow #rebelheartour (sic).’

The star then expressed her condolences for the Parisian victims before performing a number of her own songs, including Like A Prayer and also chose some tracks from other artists, such as John Lennon's hit track Imagine.

And the star wasn't alone for the performance, as her 10-year-old son David proved he'd picked up a thing or two from his mum, singing along.

David, who was adopted when he was twelve-months-old from an orphanage in Malawi, also joined his mum on stage during her concert, performing in front of thousands.
