She's been officially labelled a supermodel by style bible Vogue.

But Kendall Jenner took a break from her high-flying life for a low-key day of shopping in Los Angeles.

The 20-year-old looked carefree and relaxed after she picked up a new item at Barnes & Noble on Saturday.

Kendall wore all black for the shopping trip, showing off her long modelesque legs in a pair of tight skinnies.

She also donned a silver belt, cowboy boots, and a black long-sleeved top that hugged her slender stomach.

Inside the store, Kendall looked determined as she combed through the bookshop.

After selecting the winning item, Kendall headed outside with a shopping bag in hand and her stylish aviator shades propped upon her face.

Outside, Kendall was photographed catching up with a male pal with a smile on her face.

There's little doubt a low-key weekend at the shops was exactly was in order for the model, who looked relaxed as she made time for her pal.
