Could it be magic? Take That 'land residency in Las Vegas after impressing US tour promoters'

They have played to sell-out venues across the UK, countless times.

But now it appears that Take That will be following in the footsteps of Britney Spears and Celine Dion with a long-running residency in Las Vegas.

According to The Sun, the trio - Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen - will relocate to Nevada's so-called Sin City for several months, next year.

Speaking to the daily newspaper, a source said: 'Brits are bound to lap up seeing them on foreign soil but there’s also hope the band will attract a completely new fan base from abroad,' a source told the The Sun.

'It’s a huge deal as the lads have always dreamed of cracking America.'

'Vegas promoters believe Take That put on such a great spectacle that they can deliver in Vegas.'

MailOnline have contacted a representative for the band, but are yet to receive a response.

If true, the news will surely delight fans - who were left less-than-impressed after Take That's newly-released 2015 concert DVD featured a glitch, which made it skip 10 seconds of the first song.

Amazon, HMV and the band's online shop all stopped selling the Take That Live 2015 DVD, last month - just five days after it was released (on Friday Nov 20).

It is believed around 100,000 DVDs from the initial production were recalled.

Take That are renowned for their hugely popular concert DVD's. In 2009 the DVD of their Circus tour became the fastest-selling music DVD of all time, on the day it was released.

When the DVD of their Progress tour was released in 2011 it sold 'twice as much as the entire music DVD chart combined' in just two days.

On Friday Gary Barlow tweeted: 'It's out today !! III - 2015 Edition including the live DVD of the 2015 tour! Hope everyone's enjoying the new TT songs.'

In a statement released on Facebook Polydor, which manages Universal Records, wrote: 'The first run of stock of the new Take That release 'III - 2015 Edition' has unfortunately had to be recalled from retailers due to a fault on the DVD included in the package.

'New stock is currently being manufactured and we are working to get it distributed as soon as possible.

'Anyone who has bought this title should contact the relevant retailer who will advise when they will be available to provide a replacement.

'We apologise to all those who bought defective copies of this release.'
