And clearly Jennifer Lopez was taking influence from her own work, when she decided to showcase her famous derriere and incredible body during a relaxed Sunday stroll in Los Angeles.

Opting for a casual yet racy look, the 46-year-old chart-topping pop queen made sure all eyes were on her as she sashayed down the sidewalk in a pair of skin tight jeans and semi-sheer roll neck.

Hitting the sunny streets for an afternoon stroll, the On The Floor singer channelled a racy yet casual vibe in her jumper and jeans combo.

Wearing a clinging, semi-sheer navy roll neck, J-Lo cheekily flashed a hint of her bra as she struck a seasonal style note.

Teaming the jumper with a pair of skintight denim jeans, which helped to further highlight her hour-glass figure, the New York native made sure her famous posterior was highlighted to the max.

Rounding her saucy yet understated look off, Jennifer further accentuated her famous curves with a pair of black, over-the-knee suede stiletto boots.

Accessorising her wardrobe with a black handbag, which featured tasselled detailing on the fringe, the pop star added some glitz to her stripped-back ensemble with a collection of sparkling diamond encrusted jewellery.

She added a hint of the classic Hollywood A-Lister to her look, by donning a pair of wide-framed sunglasses. 

Wearing her brown locks scraped off of her face in a severe bun, the singer and actress showcased her striking natural features with a minimal palette of make-up.

Currently filming the latest (and last) series of American Idol, Jennifer is preparing to embark on a four month residency in Las Vegas in 2016.

Beginning in January and ending in May, the residency will see the star earn her first ever headlining residency.

But while she is throwing herself into her music career, January will also J Lo return to acting; when her police drama  Shades of Blue will hit TV screens.
