The 39-year-old Oscar winner stands as just 5ft 1in tall so it was, perhaps, a matter of time before her eldest daughter overtook her in the height stakes - and it seems that time is now.

Ava - whose father is Ryan Phillippe - certainly shares her parents' good looks and mother's eye for style.

Reese showed off her slim figure in skinny leg blue denim jeans, a choice matched by her eldest child.

Fresh-faced Ava displayed her genetically blessed bone-structure, while her mum was careful to pay for her parking after receiving a parking ticket earlier this month.

She's provided the voice for the character in the animated feature Sing, which is due to be released on December 21.
