It looks like Adele is ready to say Hello to the other side of the pond.

The 27-year-old singer announced tour dates for the North American leg of her highly-anticipated tour in 2016 on Monday.

The 60 new dates will be the first time she has performed on the continent since she had to cut her tour for 23 short back in 2011 due to vocal-cord issues.

At the time, fans were saddened as she had to undergo throat surgery as a statement released in October 2011 explained: 'It is with deep regret that Adele has been forced to cancel her remaining live dates and promotional appearances in 2011.'

The microsurgery to stop a vocal cord hemorrhage from a benign polyp was a success as she took a break to recover until performing at the Grammy Awards in February 2012.

Adele will kick off her new string of shows on July 5 and 6 in St Paul Minnesota with two dates at the Xcel Energy Center then close it out on November 15 with two performances in Mexico City at the DF Palacio de los Deportes on November 14 and 15.

There is such a high demand that the major cities on the tour have multiple concerts with the highest ones being Los Angeles and New York who each have six total dates.

As if her return to North America was not incentive enough to buy tickets, there was a fan frenzy just over a week and a half ago when tickets were released for the European leg of her tour.

Adele fans stuck in front of their computers for hours as they attempted to buy tickets for the UK-leg of the singer's European tour have vented their frustration by posting hilarious memes on Twitter.

Those registered with the Adele fan club were given access to pre-sale tickets on the morning of December 1 but many were left waiting for hours as the site struggled to cope with the volume of traffic.

Many decided to share their frustration on Twitter, posting dozens of hilarious tweets and pictures using the hashtag #SomeoneLikeQueue.

Just hours after the release, tickets were being resold for up to ten times their face value despite the singer's website stating that the ‘resale of tickets will not be tolerated’.
