Make-up free Emmy Rossum keeps warm in chic coat and black leather leggings as she flashes her diamond engagement ring in LA

She got engaged just four months ago.

And on Saturday Emmy Rossum was spotted flashing her engagement ring while running errands in Los Angeles.

The 29-year-old's fiance, New York native and director Sam Esmail, announced their engagement in August after dating for two years.

Emmy said on Live! With Kelly And Michael that Sam is 'a bit of a nerd,' adding: 'He doesn’t know chivalry too well, so we have to bust his chops a little bit.' 

Meanwhile, on Saturday the star went makeup free and flashed her engagement ring as she left the residence.

Emmy appeared to be in a good mood, smiling and carrying a small white bag.

The actress pulled her brunette hair back in a messy ponytail, and accessorized with a cozy grey scarf and large sunglasses.

She wore a white button-up shirt under the stylish coat, which featured a double-breasted design and gold buttons.

However, the actress appeared worried as she glanced at her smart phone, even taking a seat on the front steps to better concentrate on her phone.

The New York native became engaged to Mr Robot creator Sam Esmail in August, after two years of dating.

She was previously wed to music executive Jason Siegel, but they divorced in 2010 after a year and a half of marriage.

The Phantom of The Opera star also took time to visit actress Joan Cusack this weekend, raving about her costar's giving nature on social media.

'Joan Cusack is the best, most genuine generous person ever,'Emmy wrote on Twitter. 

'I admired a vase in her house and she made me take it home with me. I love her.'

She also shared an Instagram photo as she posed with Joan's Emmy, holding it up to the light.

'Finally seeing Joannie's Emmy in person!' she wrote.  'She's a true light and I'm proud to be her friend.'

The actors were no doubt enjoying their down time, after wrapping season six of their Showtime show last week.
