They called an end to their five-year marriage in June.

But friendly exes Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green put aside their differences and put on an united front as they popped out for coffee with their sons, Noah, three, and Bodhi, 22 months, over the weekend.

The amicable pair stayed close to each other as they enjoyed some family bonding time in Brentwood, California on Sunday.

Megan, 29, dressed down for the trip, looking comfy and content in a pair of khaki jogging bottoms tucked into cosy-looking boots.

The New Girl star, who held on to little Noah's hand, layered a denim jacket over a casual white vest and shielded from the sun in a pair of chic round sunglasses.

She looked flawless and naturally beautiful, going without any make-up for the trip, whilst she left her ombre locks loose and tousled down her shoulders.

Meanwhile her actor ex, 42-year-old Brian, threw Bodhi up around his neck, letting the toddler lean on his broad shoulders.

Megan filed for divorce from Brian in the summer after eleven years together, for five of which they were married.

They cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split, but insiders claimed the pair separated after spending months arguing about Megan's heavy workload.

'Megan has separated from Brian,' a source told Us Weekly in June. 'They decided it six months ago.'

Another friend added: 'Things have been rocky.'

And two months after they began divorce proceedings Brian officially filed for spousal support following their split.

According to TMZ, Brian made the claim as he has been unable to work full-time since he was involved in a serious car accident last December, leaving Megan the primary earner in the home.

The Beverly Hills, 90210 star also asked for joint custody of their two children.

And whilst the stars amicably work through the custody issues as part of their divorce proceedings the pair have both made an effort to see their children together.
