Fur goodness sake! Ben Stiller poses with husky pup while wearing canine coat in hilariously tasteless new Zoolander 2 poster

The world of fashion has never been noted for its tastefulness.

And Ben Stiller pokes fun at this fact as he poses with a husky pup while wearing a fur coat in an hilarious new Zoolander No 2 poster.

The actor wears his trademark Derek Zoolander pout as he gurns at the camera while cradling the adorable canine.

The 50-year-old is looking good in all his airbrushed glory as he appears as the dim-witted but good-natured world's greatest male model.

Meanwhile the poster for his arch-enemy Mugatu, who is played by fellow comedy heavyweight Will Ferrell,  who is pictured holding has hand up trying to stop photographers snapping him and his adorable pet poodle.

The character was arrested at the end of the first film after trying to have Derek assassinate the Prime Minister of Malaysia.

Other posters released include one of Owen Wilson as Derek's rival-cum-best friend Hansel, and Penélope Cruz dressed in leathers while straddling a chopper as Melanie Valentina.

The tagline for the film, set to be released in February 2016, is revealed as 'Long Time No Z.'

The first film was written by Stiller and based on a character he created for the 1996 VH1 Fashion Awards.

He played a ridiculous fashion model nearing the end of his career who is ousted as top model by a rising star, Hansel.

Quitting the catwalk, he is recruited by corrupt fashion industry execs to assassinate the prime minister of Malaysia who is shutting down his country's sweat shops.

The sequel's script is written by Jennifer Aniston's husband Justin Theroux and also features cameos from Billy Zane, Kanye West, Benedict Cumberbatch and pop culture icon Lenny Kravitz.

As promotion for the film reached high gear Derek and Hansel showed up to walk in Valentino's runway show at Paris Fashion Week in March, while they were seen filming scenes with Penelope Cruz at the Valentino store in Rome back In June.
