Embracing the light and dark side! Gina Rodriguez looks magic in monochrome at Star Wars: The Force Awakens premiere
She may have recently been mistaken for America Ferrera.
But Gina Rodriguez made sure she was a stand out on the red carpet at Star Wars: The Force Awakens premiere on Monday.
The actress went for a monochrome floor length gown which showed she was embracing the light and the dark side at the event.

The brunette wore the black and white frock with aplomb, and teamed it with a pair of monochrome strappy sandals and a mirrored black clutch.
Gina wore her dark locks cascading over one shoulder in elegant waves.
She went for a smoky eye and had pale pink glossed lips.

It was last week Gina, 31, was confused with America Ferrera, who was hosting the 2016 Golden Globe nominations.
The Hollywood Foreign Press Association got the two women muddled on its Twitter feed.

The tweets were quickly deleted, but not before a number of Twitter users called the organization out for confusing Ferrera and Rodriguez.
America won the 2007 Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Comedy or Musical for her starring role in ABC's Ugly Betty.
Gina was the first actress on The CW to win a Golden Globe for her starring role in Jane the Virgin.
