From Mockingjay to Joy: Jennifer Lawrence plumps for a super-plunging neckline as she returns to London for film photocall
The last time she was in London, she was tearing up the red carpet on world premiere night for The Hunger Games conclusion, Mockingjay.
But Jennifer Lawrence was back to promote new film Joy on Thursday night and cutting a more understated figure, far removed from her extravagant red carpet dresses.
Still baring plenty of cleavage, the elegant actress, 25, wore a blazer dress with a super-plunging neckline to the photocall of the latest big screen offering.

She's back: Jennifer Lawrence arrived back in London on Thursday night for the film photocall of Joy
Her dress, which framed her neckline with satin lapels, was sleeveless with an uneven hemline to leave her legs on show.

Being one of the faces of Christian Dior comes with its perks. Not only do you have access to an endless supply of handbags, sunglasses and earrings, you have access to some of the best seamstresses in the world. We, at Fashion Finder, tip our hats to these men and women who painstakingly hand-assemble every stitch into sculptural creations season after season. There are no sewing machines in haute couture. And they are arguably the heart and soul of a fashion house.
They are also tasked with creating one-of-a-kind pieces for celebrities and Jennifer Lawrence wore one of them for the Joy premiere in London tonight. We love this unassuming, two-piece LBD: low-cut, snug in the double-breasted waist which then explodes into a lollapalooza of asymmetrical pleats and folds in a high/low silhouette.
Of course, the primary characteristic is the silk- or satin-covered tuxedo-style lapel making it, technically, a tuxedo dress. Unfortunately, because it was made especially for Jennifer, we can't get our mitts on this exact dress... even if we had the funds to purchase exquisite, hand-made pieces from this famous French house. But fret not, because we've corralled black tuxedo dresses to satisfy any budget. We think DKNY's version is one of the best we've seen.
A mullet hem draped to her lower calf as she complemented the ensemble with a pair of studded, pointed heels.
Jennifer slipped a simple black clutch bag under one arm as she created a more impressive silhouette with another hand on her hip.

Giggles: She was giggling as she hit the red carpet in her finery
Work pals: Jennifer accompanied director David O. Russell to the event
Sexy edge: Jennifer's neckline plunged low to reveal an eyeful of cleavage
Though she was wearing classic black, Jennifer's vivacious personality shone through as she accompanied director David O. Russell to the event, alongside actress Gillian Anderson.
In the film, animated actress Jennifer takes on a more comedic role than Hunger Games' Katniss Everdeen and X Men's Mystique as she plays titular character Joy Mangano.
Following a family across four generations, Joy takes on the responsibility of becoming founder and matriarch of a powerful business dynasty.
The film premiered in New York on Monday and has already earned her a nomination for the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy or Musical.

The movie has also been nominated for a Best Picture - Musical or Comedy Golden Globe, and luckily Jennifer, unlike many actors, had planned to sit through it in the screening.
'I think it's important to watch my performances,' Jennifer recently told Business Insider. 'It's kind of like an athlete watching, because I can see if I repeat something, or I didn't believe that moment, why?'
'I think it's important to dissect yourself, but that's really hard to do because once you're watching it, it's done, and it's set in stone, and it survives forever. So when you watch something and you hate it, it's hard to sleep that night.
