Meet the new line-up: Margaret Cho is the latest co-host of Fashion Police, joining (L-R) Brad Goreski, Giuliana Rancic and Melissa Rivers
She has previously appeared on the fashion critique show as a guest.
Giuliana Rancic was one of the first to congratulate her new co-star after her appointment was announced, tweeting: 'Exciting news! Welcome to the family @margaretcho!!!'
Melissa Rivers, Joan's daughter, and Brad Goreski both joined Giuliana on the panel this year.
It came following the departures of Kelly Osbourne and Kathy Griffin, with the latter quitting after just seven episodes.
New role: The 47-year-old comedian is pictured here in September
The show went on hiatus after the two stars quit, before returning in September with Melissa at the head of the panel.
Kelly quit Fashion Police in February shortly after the furore surrounding Giuliana's controversial comment about her friend Zendaya Coleman's hair at the Oscars.
Giuliana was forced to apologise when she said during an episode of the show that Zendaya looked as though her dreadlocks would smell of 'patchouli' or 'weed'.
Acerbic wit: The star of the show was Joan Rivers who hosted for four years before her sudden passing in September 2014. Pictured is Kimora Lee Simmons, Kelly Osbournem Rivers and George Kotsiopoulos in 2013
Changing line-up: Kelly Osbourne and Kathy Griffin quit the show earlier this year leaving just Giuliana and Brad Griffin left after just seven episodes
Kathy - who had been close friends with Joan until her death - announced on Twitter less than two weeks later that she too would be leaving.
Joan died on September 4, 2014, after being placed in a medically induced coma following complications from a minor throat surgery.
The comedian stopped breathing during the procedure and The New York City Medical Examiner's Office said she died from brain damage caused by a lack of oxygen.
