But in reality Renee Zellweger is far from lovelorn as the star struggled to contain her smile when arriving at the Bridget Jones' Baby wrap party alongside boyfriend Doyle Bramhall II on Friday night.

The 46-year-old actress look completely smitten as she and her man made their way into the city's Haymarket Hotel to celebrate the end of filming for the highly-anticipated comedy movie.

The Me, Myself and Irene actress opted for a smart casual look for the celebrations, teaming ripped boyfriend jeans with formal black stilettos.

Keeping warm in the chilly winter climate, the award-winning actress wrapped up in a black trench coat, while carrying her essentials in a coordinating black clutch bag.

Doyle also opted for a relaxed style in a slightly sheer knitted jumper, dark jeans and trainers, his curly raven locks swept back into a ponytail.

Like Renee, he attempted to block out the cold weather with a large jacket, though donned a more relaxed padded coat.

The two looked in high spirits as they walked along with friends, who all appeared to have found something funny to giggle about.

The hugely-anticipated third installment of the Bridget Jones franchise is directed by Sharon Maguire, the director of the original Bridget Jones's Diary movie which was released in 2001.

It's thought to follow less of Helen Fielding's third Bridget Jones book Mad About The Boy and more of the author's old columns.
