Nicole Scherzinger 'panics airline crew after locking herself in toilet to make emergency phone call before take off on transatlantic flight'

Nicole Scherzinger reportedly had crew on a London-bound flight 'panicked' after she locked herself in the plant toilet.

The singer, 37, was flying from Los Angeles when she decided she had to make a last-minute call before take-off, according to a report in The Sun.

Nicole could be heard talking loudly on the 'animated' call before eventually taking her seat after staff banged on the door, according to insiders.

According to onlookers the brunette stunner - who was travelling in VIP-style - was left red-faced when she explained that she had to make an 'emergency' call before they left LAX airport.

However Nicole, 37, didn't delay the flight as she managed to get back to her seat safely and in time for the plane to take off. A representative for Nicole told MailOnline: 'There was no panic or possible last minute delay to the flight.'

The star didn't waste any time when she made it to London, taking the plunge in a daring ensemble as she partied in the capital on Thursday night.

Putting on a stylish display, Nicole looked great in a low cut lace-up detail top which she teamed with a leather mini skirt.

Top off your look with a Maison Michel hat like Nicole's

Nicole Scherzinger looked uber modern as she arrived at Heathrow airport. Despite the 10 hour flight she had just endured we had no idea, giver she was dressed to perfection in dark hues with a fun pop of red on her lip and on her crop top shirt.

We think the high waisted wide legged pants with leather slip on sneakers are perfect for travel wear, while the over-the-shoulder jacket moment makes this such a fashion forward look. To top it off, Nicole wore her grey Maison Michel hat.

A street style must-have, Maison Michel has been spotted on several celebrities such as Victoria Beckham, Cara Delevigne and Kourtney Kardashian.

We found Nicole's exact style available for $600 at Barney's New York. Click the link on the right to buy.

Meanwhile, it is thought the star was spending time Stateside to work on her new music.

The Don't Hold Your Breath singer revealed she is back in the studio but admitted it might be a while before anyone hears her new material because she intends to take her time to make something 'really classic'.

She explained: 'This December I'm back in the studio working on a new album and I want it to be really classic. I don't want it to be trendy. It's exciting.'

Nicole released her second record 'Big Fat Lie' last year but it failed to perform well in the UK album charts, which led to her being dropped by her label RCA Records.
