She typically sports tennis shoes. But off the court Maria Sharapova is an A-list fashionista.

The tennis star dressed in a monochrome ensemble while enjoying a bit of retail therapy at Barney's in Beverly Hills.

But the 28-year-old tennis pro, currently ranked number four in the world, stepped up her style with a pair of gold metallic ankle boots to add a rocker edge to her polished look.

The Olympic medal winner swept her silky blonde locks back into a low bun and kept concealed behind tortoise shell shades.

Adding a bit of sparkle to her wardrobe with a few dainty bracelets Sharapova went with barely there makeup, highlighting her natural beauty.

It's no surprise Maria knows a thing or two about footwear as she designs shoes for Cole Haan, for which her ballerina flats are one of the brand's biggest sellers.
