'I've never felt happier or more content': Geri Horner reflects on a 'landmark year' as she poses with husband Christian and her daughter Bluebell

She tied the knot with Formula One boss Christian Horner with her daughter Bluebell, nine, by her side in a fairytale country wedding in May.

And Geri Horner has admitted she's never 'felt happier or more content' as she posed for a striking shoot with her husband of seven months and her daughter for this week's edition of HELLO! magazine.

Reflecting on a 'landmark year', the singer, 43, said: 'It's the most incredible thing.

'Of all the stages of my life I don't think I've ever felt happier, more content or more myself. I have absolutely everything I never dreamed I'd have. My Christmas came early this year.' 

Geri, who found fame at the height of Britpop in the 90s in the Spice, looked demure in a smart black winter coat, blue jeans and minimal make-up as she cosied up to hubby Christian and her adorable daughter Bluebell for the country-themed cover shoot.

The singer's striking red locks were styled immaculately in soft curls as they tumbled over her shoulders.

Geri let her natural beauty shine through with minimal make-up, a touch of blush and a nude lippy, which was in stark contrast to the bold red lippy she used to wear as a Spice Girl.

Bluebell looked fashion forward in a whimsical grey sparkly skirt which she teamed with a blue blazer and red scarf to keep the winter chill at bay.

Meanwhile, Christian looked dapper in his tweed jacket and casual blue jeans as they posed with the family's gorgeous pet pooches for the shoot.

Opening up about her personal life, Geri said the success and fame she found as part of the Spice Girls meant it was impossible to have relationships.

She said: 'I didn't actually start dating properly until my 30s. I became a single mum and that changed my life massively.'

The singer said when she met Horner in 2014 she knew right away that he was different.

'He was interested in me for me. I think the kind of relationship we have with someone special reflects how we feel about ourselves.'

She added: 'He was a big enough man to take on my whole Spice Girl past and be proud of it.

'When I introduced him to Bluebell she loved him straight away. Kids are amazing BS detectors and I really think a lot of her opinion because she's a very smart cookie.'

The couple wed in a fairytale ceremony in May 2015, and now she is looking forward to spending the rest of her life with the Red Bull team principal.

He said: 'It's our first Christmas as a married couple and it's just great. We're all very, very happy.'

Commenting on the rumours of a Spice Girls reunion next year, she said: 'It would be great fun. 

'We are all still very much a part of each other's lives.'
