He's retired from football and her singing career faded long ago.

But Brand Beckham is continuing to grow with David and Victoria raking in £65million last year.

The superstar couple, who were recently valued at £508 million, made profits of £68,000 a day after tax, according to documents filed with Companies House.

Figures showed that Beckham Brand Holdings (BBH) - the company who look after Victoria's fashion sales and David's image rights - made profits of £12.6million and revenue grew by 55%.

The success of David's Footwork Productions firm also raked in an additional £12.5million, while the former Spice Girls-turned-fashion designer made £34.1m from Victoria Beckham Ltd.

Together the couple earned £65.4million before tax and costs and through BBH they paid themselves and manager Simon Fuller £3million, while David gained an extra £6.5m from Footwork.

As well as Victoria's ready to wear Victoria Beckham collection and handbags, which cost up to £18,000 each, her income comes from denim, eye makeup and the Victoria, Victoria Beckham brand, which is slightly less formal than her mainline label.

In 2011, in a far cry to her days in the Spice Girls, she was named designer brand of the year of the British Fashion Awards, and last year was named Entrepreneur of the Year 2014 by Management Today magazine for creating ‘a company that is both real and wildly successful’.

The magazine, which estimated her wealth at £210million, said she was ‘an adept exploiter of her own celebrity value’.

And after retiring from football in 2013, David Beckham has become the highest paid ex-sportsman in the world through marketing and advertising deals with companies including Adidas, H&M and Breitling.

He also earns millions more from other business ventures, which are understood to have taken his total earnings to £50.8million last year according to Forbes magazine.

As part of the restructuring of their companies, David resigned from Victoria Beckham Ltd at the end of last year, having set up his own new company, David Beckham Ventures, in August 2014, of which Victoria is not a director.

A source said the move was ‘to allow both businesses to grow in their own different ways’. Victoria’s company has high overheads and seasonal fluctuations, meaning it needs to borrow money to maintain a steady cashflow, while David’s companies have a steady income and few costs.

The couple have an equal say in each other’s companies as they attend quarterly board meetings as directors of the parent company.

The Beckhams have four children: Brooklyn, 16, Romeo, 13, Cruz, 9 and Harper, four.
