She is enjoying something of a festive break with her loved ones in Barbados, so it’s no wonder Emma Forbes is making the most of the balmy climes.

The 50-year-old, who is known for hosting Live And Kicking in the nineties, was pictured hitting the beach on the beautiful, sun-soaked Caribbean island on Tuesday afternoon.

Looking incredible as ever, the TV star paraded her incredibly toned physique in a simple black swimsuit, which boasted a plunging neckline and gold embellishing.

The ensemble made the most of her sun-kissed frame and emphasised her curves in all its glory as she relaxed in the glorious sunshine with some companions.

With her short golden-tinted tresses swept backwards, a delicate silver chain and a pair of designer shades rounded off the proceedings perfectly.

She appeared to be in relaxed and content spirits, wading in and out of the refreshing blue sea.

Over the years, Emma has jetted off to the idyllic hotspot for Christmas with her husband Graham Clempson and their teenage children Lily and Sam.

The annual December break is the perfect opportunity for the television star to flaunt her youthful shape at 50.

Emma slimmed down to great effect after feeling disappointed by her holiday snaps in 2012, ever since feeling more confident and looking simply stunning in her swimwear.

In 2013, following very positive feedback about her figure, Emma opened up about how she achieved it in an article she wrote for the Daily Mail.

She wrote: ‘In the past 18 months, I have taken myself in hand and turned myself totally around. And, boy, do I feel empowered and proud of myself, because I’ve done it all naturally. No Botox. No liposuction. No surgery.’

Sharing the secrets of her exercise regime she said: ‘I loathe exercise, but I realised the only way to get toned was to get myself into the gym. So 18 months ago, with the help of a personal trainer, I started a regime.'
