Tie-dye for! Alessandra Ambrosio shows off her model figure in a black bikini and fringed kaftan as she films TV show in Rio 

She's a Victoria's Secret veteran and has rocked the runway for the lingerie brand for the past decade.

And Alessandra Ambrosio showcased the body that propelled her to fame as she filmed a television segment in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on Wednesday.

Shooting a segment for TV Globo, the supermodel, 34, put her incredible figure on show in a skimpy black bikini, which highlighted her toned abs and impressive cleavage.

The Brazilian bombshell teamed her sexy swimwear with a pair of high-waisted cut-off denim shorts and a retro-inspired purple tie-dye kaftan.

Accessorising with a bright green leather clutch bag and numerous bracelets, the mother-of-two ditched her usual towering heels in favour of a pair of flat strappy sandals. 

Alessandra carried a pair of mirrored shades in her hand and wore her long brunette locks flowing in beachy tousled waves down her bag, while completing her low-key look with natural make-up. 

Although the Victoria's Secret Angel is working during her trip to her native Brazil, she has also made sure to enjoy some well-earned family time.

Posting numerous idyllic shots to her Instagram page over the past few days, the brunette beauty seems to have been having a blast with her nearest and dearest, including mini-me daughter Anja, seven, and son Noah, four. 

Alessandra's businessman fiance, Jamie Mazur, hasn't been pictured on the trip so far.

The model has been very busy of late, appearing in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in New York City last month for a 10th time and filming a small part in the sequel to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie opposite Will Arnett. 

The catwalk queen was named Victoria's Secret's first-ever spokesmodel in 2004, and has since gone on to front campaigns for the likes of Armani Exchange, Christian Dior, and Ralph Lauren.

And while she may be genetically-blessed with a long, lean figure, Alessandra admitted she puts special focus into her diet and exercise regime with extra workouts and eating healthy 'green juices and salads' in the lead-up to the annual Victoria's Secret Catwalk Show. 

She previously said: 'I try to get my mind into it and I work out as much as I can. I try to hit the gym, and a little tan from the California sunshine always helps!

'I will lay by the pool and get a healthy tan. I’ll be eating healthy and I’ll watch what I’m eating. 

'I will eat salads and greens and juices, I love green juices. I will cut down on cakes and all that other bad stuff.'
