In her skinny jeans! Melissa McCarthy, 45, gives her leggings a day off to flaunt 50 pound weight loss as she heads to organic restaurant 

Melissa McCarthy usually steps out in her comfortable black leggings from her Seven clothing line.

But on Wednesday the Mike & Molly actress slipped into a pair of skinny jeans for a change that helped accentuate her incredible 50 pound weight loss.

The 45-year-old comedienne was headed into lunch at the organic restaurant Olive & Thyme in LA's Toluca Lake neighborhood.

The brunette added a Merlot-colored cardigan and a thick knitted black and grey scarf.

The Spy star also carried with her a black Givenchy handbag and wore worn-in brown boots with a one inch heel.

Cat-eyed oversized sunglasses looked borrowed from Nicole Richie's walk-in closet.

The Bridesmaids standout was seen getting out of the driver's seat of a black SUV with tinted windows.

The Identity Thief star appeared to be solo as she made her way into Olive & Thyme, which serves breakfast and lunch.

On the menu are items such as egg paninis with fontina cheese and mushrooms as well as kale salads and an all-organic beef hot dog.

'I truly stopped worrying about it,' she told Life & Style. 'I think there's something to kinda loosening up and not being so nervous and rigid about it that, bizarrely, has worked.'

Melissa said perparing for those fight scenes in Spy got her in the mood to work out.
