'I love her so much already': Katherine Schwarzenegger reveals she is 'super blessed' to be godmother to Tom Arnold's new baby daughter

He became a family friend after starring alongside her famous father Arnold in True Lies.

But Katherine Schwarzenegger seemed as candid as they come when she said she felt 'super blessed' to be godmother to Tom Arnold's new baby daughter Quinn on Wednesday.

She shared the happy news with her 85,000 strong band of followers on Instagram when she posted an adorable snap of herself cradling the youngster.

The 26-year-old stunner said: '(I'm) feeling super blessed to be the godmother to this little angel! I love her so much already!'

Schwarzenegger family friend Tom has just become a father for the second time at the grand old age of 56.

The and wife Ashley, 40, welcomed daughter Quinn Sophie into the world at 12.39pm on Friday and the little girl weighed in at 7lbs 9oz and measured 22in long.

The couple - who also have a son, Jax, two - told People: 'Our second miracle has arrived and she is perfect.'

Tom announced in June he and Ashley were expecting a daughter.

He posted a picture of his son holding an ultrasound picture on twitter and wrote: 'Jax is very excited, but also a bit confused with the happy news he will have a little sister this fall #grateful (sic)'

The True Lies actor - who has been married three times before, including to comic Rosanne Barr - has previously been open about his struggles to father a child because of his low sperm count.

He previously said: 'One day at the hospital I saw a sign asking for sperm donors and it paid $35. I was psyched because, unlike blood, I believed I could donate this stuff three times a day.

'Fortunately, they give you a test first and the doctor informed me that I didn't have many "swimmers."'

However, despite his problems, the star believes having Jax was fate.

Announcing Ashley's pregnancy in 2013, he said: 'I've tried with other people, but since there is a God we were unable to conceive. Now God said, "This is it!"'
