Britain's top stand-up comics look set for another bumper Christmas pay day after raking in almost £30million in the last decade with festive DVD sales.
The lead-up to December 25 is now the prime time for our top stand-up comedians to punt DVDs of their latest on-stage routines - which themselves make a killing in ticket sales alone when performed live earlier in the year.
But now that they have become prime stocking-fillers, the market is bigger than ever - and guarantees our favourite funnymen and women a huge advent pay-day every year.

Household names including the likes Michael McIntyre, Lee Evans (pictured) and Billy Connolly have had fans laughing all the way to the bank every advent since 2005, with their most recent stand-up routines shifting millions of copies gifted over Christmas
Official Charts Company figures show that the public just cannot resist lapping their latest DVD releases up, forking out tens of millions of pounds to ensure Britain's comic masters really are laughing all the way to the bank every Christmas.
Household names including the likes of Peter Kay, Michael McIntyre, Lee Evans and Billy Connolly have all pocketed millions every advent since 2005, with their most recent stand-up routines flying off the shelves each year.
That has made the comedy routines big business - and has made sure that if it's not a white Christmas, it is definitely going to be a lucrative one for our wittiest minds.
Since 2005, Britain's top comedians have sold no less than 13million stand-up DVDs in the run up to the big day.
Costing an average of £15, the routines - which themselves banked the comics millions in tickets - have generated a cool £195million.
And that has created a factory-like process for the annual DVD push.
There are now more stand-up DVDs featuring in the Christmas chart than ever before.
Since 2005, 39 different live shows have held their own in the Offical Charts top 30 - more often than not bagging the prestigious top spot on December 25.

Kevin Bridges' (pictured) 'A Whole Different Story', Mrs Brown's Boys Live, Michael McIntyre's 'Happy and Glorious' and John Bishop's 'Supersonic' are all well inside the top 30 selling new releases, meaning all the signs are there for another bumper festive pay-day for Britain's funniest
After distribution and marketing costs, our stand-up superstars pocket between seven and 15 per cent of the sale price.
That means they have shared a collective pot of £30million over the last decade - roughly £3million between them every advent.
Multi-million selling Lee Evans leads the way, pocketing almost a third of that cash - £9million - himself.
Bolton funnyman Peter Kay has also made the most of his hugely popular live shows, earning an estimated £6.75million from three offerings since 2005.
And Geordie comic Sarah Millican has led the way for our female comics, making £1.6million with two releases.

The top selling live shows come from the likes of Evans, who has held that annual crown twice with two million-selling releases - his 2005 XL Tour and 2008's Big - Live at the O2.
Family favourites Michael McIntyre and Peter Kay have also had sales hit the seven figure mark over the festive period.
Floppy-haired McIntyre shifted more than a million copies of Hello Wembley, while 1,002,000 people purchased funnyman Kay's 'The Tour That Didn't Tour' DVD in 2011.
According to the Official Charts Company and Worldpanel Entertainment, 77 per cent of comedy titles are sold between October and December.
Four huge comedy hitters are already battling it out to be this year's top stocking fillers.
Mrs Brown's Boys Live, Michael McIntyre's 'Happy and Glorious', Kevin Bridges' 'A Whole Different Story' and John Bishop's 'Supersonic' are all well inside the top 30 selling new releases, meaning all the signs are there for another bumper festive pay-day for Britain's funniest.
