The family all took a moment at Joseph and and Margret West's grave on Christmas Eve.

Posting a picture of his children David wrote: 'Merry Christmas Nan & Grandad we all miss you especially these 4 not so little kiddies anymore...'

David and his wife Victoria share Brooklyn, 16, Romeo, 13, Cruz, 10, and daughter Harper, four.

The 40-year-old former footballer married his wife, 41, in 1999 and having clocked almost two decades of married life the two proved they're more in love than ever before on Thursday evening.

Counting down the hours until Christmas Day, the besotted duo shared a kiss under the mistletoe in a sweet snap the former footballer uploaded to his Instagram wall. 

The beautiful frame, which is made up of their silhouettes, sees David and Victoria, 41, locking lips as they stand under lights in a cobbled pathway.  

Leaning in for the tender embrace, Victoria's hair is cascading down her back while David is casual in his favoured flat cap. 

The caption on the photograph read: 'Kisses at Christmas are always the best ones'.

Beckham added: 'Kids took this picture of mum and dad obviously slightly @victoriabeckham @brooklynbeckham ... Merry Christmas'.

Family time has been the the main focus of this holiday. 

Taking to their respective social media accounts, the doting parents-of-four have treated their children - Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper - to various themed outings.

Enjoying a boys' night out over the weekend, David took his sons to an ice skating rink while his other half watched a performance of The Nutcracker with her little girl.

Sharing details of the visit to the iconic ballet performance, the fashion designer gushed: 'Our little ballerina loves the Nutcracker at the Royal Opera House'.
