She is a happily married mother of twin boys

So no doubt Zoe Saldana was partly smiling with relief after she went on a late Christmas shopping spree in Beverly Hills on Wednesday.

The 37-year-old looked full of festive cheer as she marched out of a store with carrying bags full of gifts after she went wild in the aisles

The Star Trek favourite was looking great for her age in a black cardigan, tight T-shirt, holey jeans and flat shoes.

And she was certainly looking full of beans considering she had complaining in a jocular Instagram post that she and her Italian artist husband Marco Perego were getting 'no sleep ever' due to their exuberant one-year-old children Bowie and Cy.

Zoe was joined by her sisters Cisely and Mariel Saldana as they indulged themselves in the well-heeled area of Los Angeles County.

The actress, who played the spirited Neytiri in James Cameron's 3D sci-fi adenture Avatar,certainly has a busy schedule as she is set to reprise the role in three sequels.

The director confirmed that Avatar 2 has a planned release two years from now.

'Christmas of ’17 is the target,' Cameron told Montreal Gazette. 'At least, that’s what we’ve announced. 

'But I don’t consider that to be as important as the fact that when we get all three films done, we drop them a year apart. I call it a meta-narrative that runs across the three movies. Each film stands alone, but it also tells one much larger story.'
