Home is where the heart(break) is? Perrie Edwards 'moves back into £4.2million love nest she and ex-fiancé Zayn Malik bought together'

It was supposed to be their first marital home before their shock summer split

But only months after putting it on the market following the sudden end of their engagement, Perrie Edwards appears to have moved back into the love nest she bought with her ex-fiancé, Zayn Malik

Having previously thought to have agreed to sell the £4.2million property in London in the summer, the 22-year-old Little Mix star is reported to have move back in to the house over the weekend.

Having moved out of the love nest the pair bought just months before their split this summer, the Little Mix star is alleged to have made a 'temporary' move back to the pad.

According to The Sun on Sunday Perrie spent the night at the luxurious North London pad before her mother, Debbie, joined her and took her out shopping for household essentials.

Heading out to the shops with Debbie, the blond chart-topper was seen buying a vacuum cleaner and kitchen essentials, such as, a toaster and kettle.

Speaking to the paper, a source alluded that the move wasn't permanent, saying: 'It could be only a temporary stay as Perrie looks for her own home, but for Zayn to have relented slightly, is interesting.'

MailOnline has contacted representatives for both Perrie and Zayn, but has yet to receive any comment.

In summer the former One Direction member is reported to have given Perrie an ultimatum about moving her things out of the house, however, the temporary move may suggest he has changed his mind.

Only last week in his first interview since leaving the band, the Bradford-born superstar, 22, told Fader that he still loves the Little Mix singer.

Reveling he still has feelings for Perrie, he also shed light on the allegation he broke off the engagement via text.

Speaking candidly on a range of topics, Zayn told the music magazine: 'I love her [Perrie] a lot, and I always will, and I would never end our relationship over four years like that.

'She knows that, I know that, and the public should know as well.'

However, he refuses to go into the reasons behind ending their engagement, adding: 'I don’t want to explain why or what I did, I just want the public to know I didn’t do that.'
