With the help of HELLO! Fashion Monthly's Jill Wanless, we round up the stars you need to know about in 2016 - and how much they're already worth.

MADDIE ZIEGLER, 13

At the tender age of 13, most girls are battling with their parents to get their ears pierced, learning the ropes at senior school and preparing for life as a teenager.

For Maddie Ziegler, from Pennsylvania, life couldn't be more different.

The tween is a huge star with 4.5m Instagram followers, whose music videos with the popstar Sia have been viewed more than a billion times on YouTube.

Until four years ago, Maddie was an unknown eight-year-old who enjoyed dancing and went to a local primary school.

Then, in 2011, her mother Melissa was signed up to appear as part of the Lifetime reality series, Dance Moms.

The Australian popstar Sia noticed Maddie on the programme and last year she tweeted her to ask if she would appear in one of her videos - and the rest is history.

Maddie has now appeared in three of Sia's videos - Chandelier, Elastic Heart and Big Girls Cry.

Chandelier is the 17th most viewed music video on YouTube of all time and has racked up more than 712 million hits.

In February, Maddie joined Sia and Kristen Wiig in a performance of the track for the 2015 Grammy Awards as Kim Kardashian and Kanye West looked on from the front row.

She has also performed on Jimmy Kimmel and The Ellen Show - not bad for someone who hasn't even hit adolescence.

Maddie is so well recognised these days that a trip to Topshop results in her being mobbed by screaming tween fans who all want a selfie with their idol - something that has been tough to adjust to.

She is now so successful that her mother has hired a security team who monitor the star 24/7.

Having earned a living for the last four years while her contemporaries go to school every day, she has been forced to mature quickly.

She has modelled for numerous clothing companies including Glitzy Girl, Sally Miller and Purple Pixies and featured in magazines including Teen Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Elle and Seventeen.

She is home-tutored alongside her younger sister Mackenzie, who also stars in the Dance Moms series and with whom Maddie released a fashion line called The Maddie & Mackenzie Collection through Mod Angel.

While many young children try and avoid school work at all costs, the star professes to be a keen student because she wants to avoid the trap of becoming 'a stupid dancer.'

As well as dancing, she has her eye on singing and acting - she has already acted in the TV shows Drop Dead Diva and Austin & Ally.

Now she models for Polo Ralph Lauren and has landed a role in 2016 film, Book of Henry, with Naomi Watts. Celebrity Net Worth estimates her fortune at £1.3m ($2m).

AMANDLA STENBERG, 16

The American actress - whose mother is African-American and father is half Danish - first shot to fame as Rue in The Hunger Games.

Amandla has since become a charity ambassador and spoken out about the need for more images of strong black women in the media.

Confident and clever, this teenager is no red-carpet wallflower, as happy to experiment with blue lips as she is with silver hair.

After portraying Katniss's ally Rue in the first Hunger Games, Amandla appeared in the TV show Sleepy Hollow and voiced a character in Rio 2.

Her new series, Mr. Robinson, sees Craig Robinson star as a musician who becomes a music teacher at a middle school in a big city.

Amandla also made headlines earlier this year when she released an intelligent and thought-provoking video discussing the issues of cultural appropriation, posing the question: 'What would America be like if we loved black people as much as we love black culture?'

In the clip, titled Don't Cash Crop My Cornrows, the teen says: 'Appropriation occurs when a style leads to racist generalizations or stereotypes where it originated but is deemed as high-fashion, cool or funny when the privileged take it for themselves.

'Hip hop stems from a black struggle, it stems from jazz and blues, styles of music African-Americans created to retain humanity in the face of adversity. On a smaller scale but in a similar vein, braids and cornrows are not merely stylistic. They’re necessary to keep black hair neat.'

The rising star took actor Jaden, whose parents are Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, as her date to a high school prom, and they posed for photos together which they then shared on Instagram

Citing stars such as Iggy Azalea, Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry, she adds: 'Pop stars and icons adopted black culture as a way of being edgy and gaining attention.'

She also found herself embroiled in a social media row with Kylie Jenner after she commented directly on a picture of Kylie saying: 'When u appropriate black features and culture but fail to use ur position of power to help black Americans by directing attention towards ur wigs instead of police brutality or racism #whitegirlsdoitbetter [sic].'

Unperturbed Kylie replied: 'Mad if I don't, Mad if I do…. Go hang w Jaden or something.'

Celebrity Net Worth estimates her fortune at £660,000 ($1m).

LILY-ROSE DEPP, 16

Considering that the eternally cool Vanessa Paradis is her mother, it comes as no surprise that Lily-Rose has already been announced as Karl Lagerfeld’s latest muse.

The teenager, who made her modeling debut in Australian fashion magazine Oyster last year at the tender age of 15, proves that she has inherited her mother's talents as she features in a series of stunning portraits and a video ad, which were shot by head designer Mr Lagerfeld himself.

'Lily-Rose is ravishing, she is a girl from the new generation with star qualities,' Mr Lagerfeld said of his new model and muse, with the campaign description describing the teen as a 'baby doll in a world imbued with sweetness and femininity'.

Indeed, Lily-Rose's first Chanel print campaign marks a significant moment for the mother-daughter duo; Vanessa, 42, first appeared in an ad for the brand back in 1991, and has been modeling for Chanel ever since.

Earlier this year, both mother and daughter walked in the brand's casino-themed couture runway show at the Grand Palais in Paris, alongside the likes of Kendall Jenner and Kristen Stewart.

The duo stole the show as they strutted their stuff in elegant evening ensembles from the fashion house's upcoming haute couture collection.

Lily-Rose is Pirates of the Caribbean star Johnny's eldest child from his 13-year relationship with Vanessa; the couple, who announced their split in June 2012, also have a son, John, who is known to his friends and family as Jack.

The budding style star is also set to follow in her father's footsteps with an acting role in upcoming film, The Dancer.

Her A-list friends include Rita Ora, Stella Maxwell and Bella Hadid.

Whilst her net worth has never been released, if her parents' multi-millions are anything to go by, she's set to inherit - and make - a lot.

KIERNAN SHIPKA, 15

Ever since landing the role of Sally Draper in TV’s Mad Men – which earned Kiernan six awards – this stylish teen has taken the period drama’s colourful, print-heavy costumes to heart, but in a very modern way.

A regular on the red carpet and New York’s FROW, Kiernan has been making style headlines since she was 12 and recently starred in horror flick, February.

Kiernan, now 15, was only seven when she first appeared as a guest star in Mad Men playing Don Draper's daughter, before going on to score a regular role.

The show has catapulted her on to bigger things as she just finished filming for February, a horror movie also starring Emma Roberts.

Celebrity Net Worth estimates her fortune at £1.98m ($3m).

INDIA ROSE JAMES, 23

She's the porn baron’s granddaughter who, along with her sister, has inherited a £454m fortune, making her the youngest ever to grace the Sunday Times Rich List.

But whilst 23-year-old India Rose James is one of the most privileged and affluent in the country, she is, it seems, surprisingly down-to-earth.

You may not have heard of her but India is, in fact, richer than the Queen - and she's already using her fortune to make her late grandfather proud.

Her grandfather Paul Raymond, with whom she was fiercely close, built up his fortune launching the country’s first topless dancing club and introducing top-shelf magazines to the UK.

Along the way, the self-proclaimed 'King of Soho' acquired the freeholds on almost two-thirds of Soho’s properties, building up a seedy business empire estimated to be worth around £650million.

According to the Sunday Times Rich List 2013, when their grandfather died in 2008 at the age of 82, Miss James and her sister Fawn, 28, inherited 80 per cent of his money and businesses.

The sisters are the children of Debbie Raymond, whose death in 1992 from a drug and drink binge drove her father Paul to become a haunted recluse. Debbie, 36, had already taken over parts of the empire and was expected to carry on his legacy.

It is thought that Paul Raymond’s son Howard, 53, had to settle for 20 per cent of his father’s fortune after they fell out when he started taking cocaine in his 20s, leaving India Rose and her sister the majority.

Miss Rose does, however, scoff at suggestions of chauffeurs and private jets.

'I don’t drive and I don’t have a driver,' she told The Evening Standard. 'It’s all cabs and Tubes.' And when asked if she has a 'PJ', she responds: 'Private jet? I thought you meant pyjamas'.

Despite her down-to-earth nature, she and her sister own 60 acres of prime real estate and she has breakfast every morning at Soho House, which, technically, she owns. Their father John is managing director of Soho Estates - the company Fawn works for.

India Rose, meanwhile, is focussing her efforts on a new art venture, The Soho Revue, a gallery that she established with her boyfriend.
