Crystal Palace ruing Yannick Bolasie and Connor Wickham injury blows

  • Yannick Bolasie could be out for two months with upper leg injury
  • Crystal Palace team-mate Connor Wickham could also miss a month
  • The striker collected a suspected calf problem last weekend at Stoke
  • Alan Pardew's men travel to Bournemouth on Boxing Day

Crystal Palace are assessing Yannick Bolasie amid fears he could miss two months through injury.

And in a double blow to Alan Pardew; striker Connor Wickham is also facing an extended spell on the sidelines.

Bolasie is understood to have sustained an upper leg injury ahead of the Boxing Day clash against Stoke, while Wickham could miss around a month with a suspected calf problem picked up in the win at Stoke. The duo are being assessed but Pardew is bracing himself for the worst.

Pardew alluded to the injury blows earlier this week, saying: 'We've got some additional injuries that I'm going to keep in-house while I assess them. The next two games are about the squad.'

Pardew took the decision to end forward Sullay Kaikai's loan spell at Shrewsbury as he looks to cope with his injury concerns.
