Christmas on credit? Card spending soars 14% in a year as fears rise households are 'borrowing more and saving less'
It appears Britons are feasting on a binge of cheap borrowing with credit card spending volume up 14% annually, figures from the BBA show. In November, the total value spend on credit cards was £13.2bn the data from major banks shows, suggesting people are sticking more of their Christmas spend on credit this year compared to previous years.
Another dodgy jumper? How to get money back on Christmas gifts that are unwanted, broken or that never arrived
We all try our hardest to choose thoughtful presents - but gift buying doesn't always go to plan. We guide you through how to deal with those gift buying disasters, including the policy of taking back presents to the shops, gifts that never arrive and presents bought online which wasn't what you thought it would be.
Violent bargain hunters bring chaos to £3billion Boxing Day sales as cut-price shoppers fight for the best of the day's reductions
Savage bargain hunters wreaked havoc in this morning's Boxing Day sales when their aggressive jostling led to violent in-store clashes throughout the country. Terrified shoppers reported being floored by hard-nosed customers desperate to snag the best of the cut-price sales. Many were seen diving under metal shutters when the shops opened first thing before pushing those around them as they battled for prime bargains. Thousands more stood politely (pictured) overnight in the cold and rain in the likes of London, Leicester, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Liverpool, North Tyneside and Peterborough all to revel in reductions of as much 90 per cent.
How much of the cost of Christmas dinner goes to the farmer? From sprouts to turkey we reveal how much of what you pay goes to the producers
A Christmas dinner isn't complete without the turkey centerpiece and a mountain of vegetables - but how much of the cash that you hand over at the check out makes its way to farmer who grew and produced them? ASK TONY: Sky gave my laptop to a neighbour, who denies receiving it - then told me to call the police
Initially, I was told the laptop had been lost by the courier and another would be sent. By mid-November, I still hadn't received it. Sky then said it had been delivered to a neighbour. The name given is not the name of the person who lives at that property and the people who live there deny receiving it. Sky says the courier has provided proof of delivery to my neighbour and I should report the case to the police.
How much do you need to earn to buy a home in Britain's 20 biggest cities? (...and it ranges from £24k to £97k)
New figures suggests that out of 20 major cities in Britain, the average income needed to afford a home with a typical 76 per cent mortgage is £49,700, up from £45,000 a year ago. But the range is significant - from less than the average wage at £24,000 in Liverpool, to a staggering £80,200 in Oxford and almost £100,000 in London.

House prices will rise 6% next year, but there's more pain for tenants as rents will outstrip wage increases and property values
Over the next five years, annual growth in private rental costs will exceed house price growth, new findings predict. While house prices are expected to climb by an average of 4.7 per cent a year for the next five years, rents could rise by 5 per cent a year, the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors suggests. Next year, house prices across the UK are expected to climb by an average of 6 per cent and will 'outstrip any commensurate rise in household incomes', RICS said.

When will interest rates rise? The Fed finally raises rates but will the Bank of England move in 2016?
A 0.25 per cent move up in the Fed funds rate has set a marker that the Bank of England's ratesetters will be measured against.
