She's back in her native Australia to spend Christmas and New Years with her family and friends.

And it seems comedian and actress Rebel Wilson made the most of it as she dressed up in a festive-themed outfit and made a pavlova to celebrate.

On Saturday, the 35-year-old shared a collage of pictures on Instagram wearing a green t-shirt and red and white striped skirt, writing: 'Merry Christmas!!'

In the snaps - that are presumably from Friday's Christmas Day - Rebel appears to be wearing minimal make-up and has her hair tied up off her face, with her fringe out.

The blonde can be seen holding a bunch of presents, sitting down to eat, posing for a selfie and a group shot, and placing her pavlova dessert on the table.

On Friday, Rebel kept her followers up-to-date with her celebrations and shared a video of herself adding sugar to the pavlova mix and a picture of the finished product, calling herself the 'pavlova queen.'

Earlier that day she had a present in front of her and touched her foot against it, writing: 'Christmas morning! And I've already put my foot in it x.'

On Saturday, she also shared a promotional image from her upcoming film How To Be Single presumably for her American followers.

She captioned the snap: 'Hope everyone is enjoying their time off and not getting too smashed! #HowToBeSingle.'

On Wednesday, she posed up for a picture with her look-alike sister Liberty with the Sydney Opera House in the background, saying she was getting ready for New Years Eve.

Last New Years, she threw a celebrity-filled bash by the harbour that was attended by the likes of comedian Matt Lucas and Hugh Sheridan.

Meanwhile, on Monday she returned to her roots in Castle Hill to film a documentary about her youth with mother Sue Bownds.
