EXCLUSIVE: Is Josh Duggar heading home for Christmas reunion with Anna and his children? Family plane spotted at Illinois airport near reality star's faith-based rehab facility

  • The Duggar family plane was spotted at Rockford Airport near Josh's rehab facility on Christmas Eve and the early hours of Christmas
  • It is not clear if the plane was bringing visitors to see Josh or taking him home to be with wife Anna and their children on Christmas
  • It seems more likely it would be there to take Josh home given the importance of the holiday for their family
  • Furthermore, Jim Bob and Michelle would not want to miss the day with their children and grandchildren
  • Anna would also be unable to visit as the plane can only seatt four, leaving not enough room her herself, her four children and a pilot
  • Josh could have been getting a visit from his brother John-David so he would not be alone on Christmas as he has his pilot's license

Josh Duggar could be getting the greatest Christmas gift of all this year after his family's plane was spotted at the Rockford Airport in Illinois near the faith-based rehab facility he entered this past August.

The plane was photographed sitting on the runway on Christmas Eve night and in the early  hours of Christmas, but it was not clear if it had been bringing visitors to see Josh or if he was preparing to leave the facility in order to make it home in time to spend the holiday with his wife Anna and their four children.

Given the fact that the plane can only seat four people, it would seem more likely that it was there to return Josh to Arkansas, especially given the importance of the holiday for the family.

It is also hard to believe members of the family would chose to spend this important day separated from the family to visit Josh.

Jim Bob and Michelle would want to spend the holiday with their children and grandchildren, while there would not be enough room for Anna, the couple's four children and a pilot to make the trip.

There is however a possibility Josh could have been getting a visit from his brother John-David so he would not be alone on Christmas as he has his pilot's license.

The same plane was previously photographed dropping Josh off at rehab in August and again in November when he was visited by Jim Bob, one of his brothers and two other individuals who could not be identified by eyewitness Rickie Traeger of Rockford Scanner.

Some had speculated that given the timing, Josh could be returning home for Thanksgiving, but with four passengers having been flown up there would not have been enough room to include Josh on the trip back to Arkansas.

Josh has not been seen in public since this past July, and even then it was only when he shared Instagram photos of himself bowling with his son  Michael and posing for a photo of with Anna and their new daughter Meredith Grace.

The reunion will likely be both a happy and bittersweet one for Josh and Anna, especially as she has finally begun to speak publicly about the hurt and pain she felt while learning about her husband's double life.

'I think it is such a betrayal for a spouse to go through what we’re walking through,' says Anna while fights back tears during an appearance on the family's new TLC reality show, Jill & Jessa: Counting On.

She then added; 'It was hard to realize that it was such a public thing, and so, not only was it a betrayal against me, but it was also a betrayal for those who call themselves Christian.

'Everyone was able to see us get married and to vow before God to be loyal to each other, and that loyalty was broken. And so, for my heart, it was just broken.'

It was revealed in August that Josh had an account on the cheating website Ashley Madison, and soon after porn star Danica Dillon came forward claiming the pair had sex on two occasions.

Anna also said that she turned to her faith during this difficult time.

'Josh was my first love, my one and only, but I knew that my only hope was to cling to my faith, because I knew if I went off of what I was feeling, I would turn a mess into a disaster,' she says.

'In the stun and shock of everything, I was just praying, "God, help me to respond to all of this."

'I didn't know what to do. I knew we needed help, and I was just praying God would give the wisdom and the help that we needed to take the next step.'

Josh confessed to his affairs in a letter this past August, writing; 'I have been the biggest hypocrite ever. While espousing faith and family values, I have secretly over the last several years been viewing pornography on the internet and this became a secret addiction and I became unfaithful to my wife.

'I am so ashamed of the double life that I have been living and am grieved for the hurt, pain and disgrace my sin has caused my wife and family, and most of all Jesus and all those who profess faith in Him.'

He entered the faith-based rehab program in Illinois soon after and remained there while Anna cares for their children.

Just a few months prior to his admittance into the rehab program in May it was revealed that he had molested five minors when he was a teenager, including four of his sisters.

TLC cancelled the family's reality show soon after, and this special marks the return of some of the children in the family to TV.

Danica Dillon has also filed a lawsuit which accuses Josh of battery, saying that he manhandled her in a way that 'felt as if she were being raped.'

Dillon, whose real name is Ashley Stamm-Northup, alleges these incidents occurred in March and April after Josh approached her while she was stripping at a Philadelphia club.

The married mother of two is asking for $500,000 from Josh.

Just days before Dillon first came forward with the details of their relationship, but before she filed her lawsuit, Josh and Anna sold their Arkansas home to a family friend.

DailyMail.com learned that on August 24, the couple sold their five-bedroom home in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, for $65,000 to ALB Investments LLC, which appears to be a company set up on the same day by their attorney Travis W. Story.

On paper, the Duggars made a $10,000 profit on the home which they had bought eight months before.

On an episode episode of Jill & Jessa on TLC, Josh's sister Jinger pointed out how amazing Anna has been through this incredibly difficult time.

'She displays to each one of us what it is to have unconditional love, and she's walking through this better than any one of us could have ever imagined,' said Jinger.
