She tied the knot with Hollywood heartthrob Joe Manganiello a month ago.

And actress Sofia Vergara showed off her wild side with a bold leopard print scarf as she ran errands in California on Saturday.

The Modern Family star, 43, nailed off-duty dressing for the day, pouring her curves into a pair of tight black leggings that showed off her enviable form.

In a far cry from the figure hugging outfits she dons for the red carpet, the star kept her top half covered up, wrapping herself up from the cold in a black padded jacket, while a pair of black hi-top trainers and a small beige handbag finished off the look.

She kept her hair and make-up simple for the trip, styling her caramel coloured locks loose and tousled in a centre parting.

A light coverage of foundation and matte powder highlighted her tanned complexion, whilst a slick of red lipstick added some glamour to the ensemble.

She added a sweep of rouge to help define her strong cheekbones, whilst her eyes stayed covered in a pair of oversized sunglasses.

Whilst Sofia Vergara may well be the most well-known star from Colombia, last week she sent out a message of support to a fellow Colombian who hit the headlines for the wrong reasons.

In scenes watched by millions, South American beauty Ariadna Gutierrez was wrongly crowned Miss Universe before host Steve Harvey realised his mistake and the star was publicly dethroned.

But immediately after Miss Philippines was correctly instated, Sofia tweeted Ariadna her thoughts on the matter.

'La Reina de todos modos @gutierrezary #colombia,' she wrote - Spanish for 'The Queen either way' - with a screengrab of the 21-year-old stunner's very brief reign.

And although Sofia and Ariadna look eerily similar, no doubt the Hot Pursuit star's other half Joe only has eyes for his new wife.

Last month the couple tied the knot after a year of dating, in a wedding that Sofia described as a 'fairy tale'.

Speaking on The Ellen DeGeneres show recently she gushed: 'It was like a dream, like a fairy tale. Like it came out perfectly like how I wanted.'
