Bio
Remko van Lutterveld is currently a post-doc at the Center for Mindfulness at the University of Massachusetts. He obtained his PhD at the University Medical Hospital in Utrecht, the Netherlands in 2012, investigating the neural correlates of auditory hallucinations in schizophrenia. This was followed by a first post-doc position at the same institution. His current position at the Center for Mindfulness allows him to combine his passion for cognitive neuroscience with his long-standing interest in meditation. Remko van Lutterveld’s research centers on the elucidation of the neurobiological mechanisms behind mindfulness, and the use of these insights to develop neurofeedback paradigms that augment mindfulness acquisition.
